Mariner cross

24k gold vermeil or 18k gold, with black opals.

This cross is part of an ongoing research into maritime structures.

It appeared, was set aside, and later returned to the workbench. What you see is the result of that pause — of working again until the piece found its own balance.

The opals —black on the surface, green within— evoke the sea without describing it: storm, drift, and the search for orientation when reference points disappear.

Each cross is assembled as a singular configuration.

This specific composition exists in two pieces only:
one in gold vermeil, available now,
and one in 18k gold, made to order.
